Timing is everything in life. I did not like the idea of MLM 5 years ago, but 5 years on, I've come to embrace new ways of doing MLM which is FUN, and that's the way its supposed to be!

#3: We should be doing just 1 thing only
Marketing and Promotion. Our job is just to let people know the opportunity exists and remove the negative connotations with MLM. We need to let people know that MLM can be done without all the difficult stuff of hearing 10 no's before a yes. If we chase friends down to join, thats not the easiest. 3 Things you need to succeed at Affiliate Marketing is get involved with a recurring affiliate marketing model. Reason are simple, a 1 time sale is repeat business. You don't need to think of how to sell another product for a second commission.

#1) Traffic

We can never have enough traffic. We just need to focus on 1 type of traffic and be good at it. Article Marketing itself is enough only if we submit around 90 articles. 1 article alone won't be sufficient.

Are you in a network marketing program but can't seem to break even. Here I'll share the concepts that have helped my business in a straight up fashion. Some of the ideas were shared from friends. Then some from teeth grinding experience.

First and foremost, I use an online prospecting system. Below concepts can only apply if you're using one.

MLM Concept #1: I teach my downline to find success, and never spoon feed them. For example, I wouldn't tell my downline to run a specific ad simply because I had good results from it. Ads provided are for examples, a downline must learn the methodologies (including testing, tweaking and tracking) to create ads that have their "own unique proposition" and search out new markets because this will allow them to create their own "Blue Oceans" rather then advertise in saturated waters.

MLM Concept #2: I aim to be notified of 3 leads everyday, or 100 leads a month. If i'm promoting multiple programs, then naturally the more leads I need to be notified of. For example, out of 18 people that join me in a low cost program, 8 will stay, and 2 will go on to grow the business, while the rest enjoy the product and may start building their own team at a later stage. Never worry about people who quit the business. We can't control how others act, but we can control our own actions and how we react. Tweak the support & training to make sure everyone finds the same success.

MLM Concept #3: Throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks. Keep throwing, keep filling the sales funnel and allow the online prospecting system to do the rest. An Actor acts, a Director directs, an Online Network Marketer markets! Let the online prospecting system sell for you. Never contact someone unless they write to you 1st.

MLM Concept #4: I don't contact my downline unless they've joined my program. People are tuned in a funny way. Imagine a doctor offering his help to heal you when you're not sick, wouldn't you turn him away? But, if you were ill, you would pay the doctor a bomb just to rid of the pain. Network Marketing is no different. Be someone who helps those who have paid you to join your business and want to learn the methods you used to build your business over the internet. People are smart, they know what they want. Our job is just to help those that want what we can give.

MLM Concept #5: No Hype. Some people are disappointed of their network marketing business. When I see how they advertise, I can always see why. "6 million dollars in 3 months", "We build a downline for you"(this one I was guilty of). Hype methods work for sales copy that take upfront cash, but NOT for MLM. In MLM we are looking for specific people that want to build long term recurring income of $2000-$5000 that pays long after they retire.

There is alot to learn online, and this by no means is an exhaustive list. Still these concepts have given me some success, and I wish you the same success in your primary network marketing business.

Network marketing, what a wonderful business. It offers the
opportunity of true freedom. But it all also offers you the
opportunity to learn some hard lessons in life.
For me it was to the tune of $7,000 worth of hard lessons
learned.
Never mind whether or not I had this kind of money to spend,
what's more important is what I learned and how you can
avoid going through the same.
Have you ever spoken to a prospect about the concept of
network marketing only to be met with "Did you say network
marketing? I'll never get into that sort of scam."
Here's why people react that way.

What that means is what you do has to be possible and highly
probably for those that come after you. So what's more

Well this reaction is caused by the fact that many people
who know of the concept of network marketing also know of a
story either directly or indirectly of someone who has
literally lost their shirt in the industry.

It happened to me and here's how.

Yesterday I spoke to you about why your prospects say no and
why buying generic biz opp leads is not really the best path
to success.
Well I learned this because I did it.
When people join a network marketing business and they are
truly excited about the concept you will find that people
will respond in two ways.

Either they say . . .
"I just signed up and I'm excited about this opportunity. I
need you to hold my hand and show me exactly how to do it or
else I fear I'll fail."

Or

"I just signed up, tell me where to go and what to do."

The first group are the needy clingy type. The type that
dream big and have enough courage to join, but not enough
courage or a dream big enough to actually go and do it on
their own with a roadmap for success. They want you to hold
their hand.

The second group is a breeding ground of leaders. These guys
know what it's about and just need to be shown where to go
and they are off to define their own destiny.

I was of the second group, just as you are in reading this
email. It's unfortunate though that even for people like you
and I what happens most of the time is we are forced into
the school of hard knocks.

We say "Where should we go and what should we do?"
They say "Go over to Joe's lead shack and buy 200 of his
leads at $300 a month and then use this script to call
them."

We do it, and for the leaders like you and I we go far past
what was recommended. We buy twice the amount and call twice
the number of leads, and we take the additional step to buy
courses and information to get better at calling those leads
no matter how much cash we REALLY have.

Six months down the road we have no success and we are
several thousand dollars in the hole and we are no closer to
our dream than when we began.
That's how I wasted $7,000 and had nothing to show for it.
But, here's what I learned and what you should take away
from my experience.

There is no reason to buy that many leads if the only way
that you have to monetize them is to have them join your
business. It's literally stupid and it saddens my heart to
know that thousands of network marketers fall victim to this
path to nowhere every single day.

This is why 95% of would be mlm leaders spend themselves
out of business before they have a chance to succeed. They
just don't know any better.

Further I'm always lead to ask this . . .

"What sort of leader tells you to do something that they
know is ineffective and will cost you more money than you
have before you see any success?"

That's not what a leader does is it?

Real marketing is NOT about going through the school of hard
knocks it's about reducing your risk every step of the way.
So I'm gonna tell you to do something right now that you
will probably never hear anyone tell you.

Don't make the same mistake that I made.
Don't ever buy leads or generate them unless you have
several ways to monetize them.

Sit down today and think of what you can do to make sure you
make money every step of the way down your path to success
in mlm and guess what?

You'll be taken a huge step towards REALLY getting there.

I did a major revamp to CTC lead capture page, and its been crazy so far..in a good way :)

What is different about the new page is that not only can my team and I make residual commissions from GDI and Success University, but with the addition of the new special affiliate commission area at the bottom right side, this allows us to earn....

Reason I included this was in consideration for new members, because trying to get started with programs like SU and GDI may take time for some. Its akin to a truck, the vehicle requires time to gain momentum, but once underway, its really the ticket to powerful financial freedom :)

Getting into a Habit of Marketing is hard, how do I do it?
Developing a habit takes effort in the beginning.
We have to make things as easy as possible to allow that habit to form.

For example, marketing via Forum CONTRIBUTIONS.
There are software out there that allow you to keep track of your forum conributions. Since I promote the idea of internet marketing on a budget, I keep track of my forums
using free tools like roboform and browsers that have Tab Features, bookmarking the forums I like.

By keeping these forums organized in my favorites folder and having roboform keep track my passwords for me, it becomes very easy to develop a habit of posting in forums.

Its ok to have it difficult in the beginning because that's when you're learning how to set things up, for instance, learning how to use roboform, checking your emails for forum confirmation messages, organizing your forums into the right folder..

Once that initial hurdle is overcome, the hardest part is over and the forum contribution habit will have a great chance of developing :)

All I do is click 1 button, and I immediately gain access to my favorite forums..and because its that convenient, my forum contribution habit forms naturally. :)

So get into the habit by setting up everything right in the beginning.
